'JvieMvul We, The Pioneer Annual staff, proudly present to you the 1963 Pioneer , We hare sincerely enjoyed working on the annual as we have witnessed its growth from cover to cover. We hope that in future years, as you browse through this annual, that you will receive, as we will, the same blessing of rich memories of our high school days. 1 Editor Oration ] Snyder High School stands as a monument to education. Figuratively speaking, we may say that its protecting walls have been a shield against the ill winds of il- literacy; its doors have opened the way to learning; its windows have let in the light of knowledge and truth; its roof has withstood the storas of intolerance. Within its walls, its warmth has served as a friendly hearth, radiating trust and friendship among students and teachers. And so - in appreciation to all who have helped to maintain Snyder High School — past, present, and future — To the administration which sponsored our education — To every teacher who has taugh in the class rooms — To the superintendents who have guided us — To all other school personnell — To the parents and patrons who have inspired us — To this coanrunity which has supported us — And to every wholesome and uplifting influence which has helped to make Snyder High School what it has been and is - we, the Pioneer staff, dedicate this annual, the 1962-63 PIONEER. ADMINISTRATION SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE The progress you have Bade the past twelve years will reflect forever in the future. The systematic approaches you have used in the past will linger forever with you tri- umphantly. The thoughtfullness and kindness you have given will always be appreciated and should continue on with you where and when you attempt to make yourself a part of any community. The enjoyment of working with you Individually has been indeed rewarding. Tour truest enjoyment will come when you are doing the things you like best, in work and play.
