? . —sen11 cn i or h ra m a Looking into our future through the Telescope Futural, an airplane can be seen flying across the sky. As the telescope becomes clearer, we see a young stewardess smiling pleasantly as she serves dinner to the passengers aboard the plane. We recognize the girl as Gwen Green. After graduation from Snyder High, Gwen went to Northeastern Junior College. When Gwen graduated from college, she worked at the airlines until she was twenty-one. She then became a stewardess; but, by the way, Gwen is looking at the handsome pilot in the cockpit. She will not be a stewardess for long. Moving the telescope toward Denver, we see much excitement and action taking place in front of the First National Bank. Why, it looks like a hold-up! It is! Dashing down the street comes a handsome, brave young policeman. He looks familiar. Yes, it's Dale Wahlert, our classmate from Snyder High. Dale certainly has done well since he graduated from high school, and we are sure his wife and two children are very proud of him. Turning our telescope north, we see an old friend. She is taking shorthand from her boss. But something is wrong, she is sitting on his lap! Later we found out that it was all right because the boss is her husband. As the scene fades, we see one, two, three, four, red-headed children filing into the room. Their hair is almost the same color red as their mother's, whose name is (as we knew her) Orpha Marick. As we move our telescope further, we see a mechanic working beneath a car. By now vr»u have probably guessed that the man is Bob Holzworth, the once very well known student of Snyder High School. Bob nas been working as a mechanic since he returned from the army, where he obtained his education on automobile repair. He has been a great success as a mechanic, and is employed by a large firm in Tucson, Arizona. Now zooming into the sight of our lens comes a midget racer. The race is tough, but this racer has a good lead. As it comes around the last corner, the car looks as if it might not make it; but with the skill of the driver, it comes flying into win the race. When a kiss from the queen of the race is placed firmly upon the face of the winner, we see one of our Senior classmates, Tony Kitchin. Having turned around, we see our classmate, Mabel Kitchin. She is now a wealthy psychologist. Mabel is taking notes from her patient on a couch. She says that she loves her work, and hopes that she will never have to quit. We heard that some of her patients are movie stars, which makes her job most exciting. Mabel also devotes part of her time to her handsome husband and children. Our telescope travels all the way to southern California, where an exciting horse race is taking place. Standing near the racing stable we see a skilled veterinarian examining a thoroughbred race horse. As the young man turns around, we notice that he is David Williams. David owns a large ranch in California, and makes an ample income by following the racing season. During the summer David is seen all along the West Coast tending to his vet business. As we look around, we see our friend, Sharon. She is now married to the boy we knew she would marry, Jerry. After graduation Sharon went to Central Business College, then she and Jerry were married and moved to the farm west of Snyder. Sharon continued her secretarial work at Brush for a few years; but now she is busy rearing three cute children. As the scene fades, we see the happy family enjoying an afternoon of horse- back riding. 12 Compliments Of BAUER'S AUTO GLASS, Fort Morgan, Colorado
