WESLEY BASS, after graduating with high honors from New York State Agricultural College, decided to put some of his new found scientific knowledge to work. His experiments proved to be very successful and he was paid a large sum by the government for the use of his ideas. This was only the beginning of success for Wesley. He now is the owner of two Cadillacs, landlord of a six-thousand acre wheat ranch, president of Modern Agriculturists, Incorporated, a nation- wide union of wheat farmers, and a proud family man. MEDINA RENO graduated from Chicago Art Institute last spring, following four years of univer- sity training in Boulder. She signed a contract with VOGUE MAGAZINE the next day as assistant to the Fashion Director. She now resides in New York City on the twenty-fifth floor of an ex- clusive apartment building from which she has a breathtaking view of the night-lights of the city. Upon arrival, her maid will greet you at the door of her nine-room suite. Medina Reno wills her ability to concentrate to Elizabeth Arroyo. James Arroyo wills his shortness to George Honebein who could use it. Bud Bailey wills his ability to sleep in class to Jerry Korthuis. Jay Pierce wills his love for geometry to Paul Wolever for future use. Ronnie Gleason wills his school bus job to Nina Chandler. Wesley Bass wills his athletic ability to Kenneth Skraback. Norma Heagney wills her artistic talent to Twila Bishop. Joyce Bishop wills her happy disposition to Paul Vondy who never smiles. Linnea Peterson wills her ability to get A's to Joe Reyez who gets so few. Medina Reno wills her poise to Larry Held. James Arroyo wills his black hair to Dianne Young. Bud Bailey wills his strong silent disposition to Charles Bass. Jay Pierce wills his kitchen privileges to Barton Woodward. Ronnie Gleason wills his football ability to Walter Gill. Wesley Bass wills his height to Jimmie Hastings who has so little. Norma Heagney wills her library job to Ella Mae Baughman. Joyce Bishop wills her pretty voice to Shirley Criswell. Linnea Peterson wills her cheerleading ability to Floyd Straily who would look so cute in a short skirt. Medina Reno wills her small waist to Mr. Garnett, provided he will accept. James Arroyo wills his ability to break his glasses to Keith Larson. Bud Bailey wills his English themes to Sharon Peterson. Jay Pierce wills his job at Jake's to Betty Criswell. Ronnie Gleason wills his love letters to Ralph Bishop. Wesley Bass wills his classroom capers to Linda Williams. Norma Heagney wills her bookkeeping to Myma Krehmeyer. Joyce Bishop wills her infectious giggle to Ava Thompson who is so serious. Linnea Peterson wills her lunch-money blues to anyone who will take them. The Senior Class of 1958 will all their old chewing gum, peanut shells, book reports, themes, tests, notebooks, and pencils to the Senior Class of 1959.

Senior Gfa ss Propnecu Let us now take a look into the future and see how the Senior Class of '58 will have prospered by 1968. JOYCE BISHOP, after graduation from S.H.S. , attended United Business College in Florida. After quickly completing the course, she flew to Paris, France, to attend Madame Renault's School of Beauty. Following graduation here, she worked a short time at the small hair-styling shop owned by Pierre Angenille. Her suave and handsome boss, at first impressed by Joyce's efficiency, soon began to notice her other assets. They were married and now have a large Beauty Salon in Hollywood, California, where Joyce cares for two young Pierres and manages books for her prosperous husband. JAY PIERCE, upon receiving his long-desired diploma, decided to celebrate by joining the Navy. Serving his term and receiving his discharge, Jay took a much-needed vacation - on a hunting trip to the mountains. Here, on a wild hunch, he borrowed a geiger counter and while hunting, he discovered - you guessed it - uranium! Now, besides being a co-partner in a large super-service station, Jay owns one of the largest uranium mines in the country. LINNEA PETERSON has been as successful in the world as she was in high school. She, too, attended business college, and after graduation, worked for a time as secretary in a law office. Though highly successful here, she decided to try for something more exciting and colorful. Receiving excellent references from her previous employer, she was able to get a job in the office of a movie contracting agency. Because of her excellent work, Skeet’s position was rapidly advanced, and now she is private secretary to the handsome president of the agency. NORMA HEAGNEY is now Mrs. Don Brunker. Following their marriage and quick (but exciting) honeymoon, Norma left with Don for the Marine Base in California. Falling in love with ser- vice life, Norma surprised everyone by joining the Women Marines. Because of her many abilities, Norma was given an office job, was soon promoted, and now is Art and Ad Editor of the Service Women’s Gazette. Norma's career has not hindered her from being with her husband and together they have traveled. We are not surprised that BUD BAILEY, who never cared much for society, sought a job where he would be away from the milling throngs. Because of these anti-social leanings, Bud volun- teered to ride the first rocket to outer space. Now, on still, clear nights, one may hear the beep-beep of Bud's inter-planetary transmitter from his observation station on Mars. JAMES ARROYO, after writing an essay on Why I Would Like To Be The Foreign Ambassador to Brazil, was quite surprised and pleased when he was actually offered the job in this far off land. Now, intermingled with his good will obligations, James finds time to hunt big game and to teach kangaroos to box. One might say that RONNIE GLEASON truly has gas in his blood. After graduation, Ronnie worked for a time at a large service station in Denver, soon was made co-partner, and finally he became sole owner. His business continued growing until now he is a big oil magnate, re- siding with his family on their three-county estate in Texas.
