DEDICATION We the Seniors of 1955, dedicate this Annual to Mr. 0. W. Garnett for his devoted time and untiring efforts to improve our school, build student character and develop healthy minds and bodies. Through these accomplishments he has made Snyder High School one of which we can all be proud to call our own.

SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE The 1954-55 “Pioneer” staff and their sponsor deserve the congratulations of the student body and teachers for this fine publication. This yearbook which records many of the high lights of our school will long be treasured by us as a pleasant reminder of friends we have made, courses of study we have taken, and of many other interesting endeavors carried on by our school. I am pleased to observe the growth and development of the students of our high school. Evidence of it can be noticed in our stature, our dress, our cooperation, our manners, and our thinking. A good balance of other ad- mirable qualities has been noticed, joy in work, fun at the proper time and place, and espe- cially in loyalty to our school and pride in our individual classes. All these things are com- mendable and make us happy. It has been a privilege to work with a fine group of highly trained teachers and an earnest industrious stu- dent body.
