Forensics X x f :mr U i This year has been one that won't easily be forgotten. There was the time we left for Tucson an hour and a half late, so Nlr. Van Gesen set the cruise control 100 and everything was cool until we reached Salt River Canyon, We had to stop at the bottom for a rest stop, Then there was the Page tournament. We ran out of gas about 7 miles outside of Page and the speech team has to push the van to a gas station. Lucky us! We did accomplish a few things though, such as putting on two plays, Lil Abner, a full length musical, and Harvey, a 3 act comedy. Other than that we mostly just planned things that were never done. I guess everyone was to involved with everything else. The Yearbook staff, advised by Mr. Van Gesen, consisted of Lisa Boyd and Carol Callahan as Co-editors, Mark Brady - Photographer, Melvin Smart - Lay-out editor, Linda Lee and Mary Ortiz - Typist, Martin Talley - Sports-editor, and Mark Rogers, Mechele Boatman, Donna Maxwell and Kay Coor, Carma Brinkerhoff, Reid Rogers, Monica Baldwin, and Terry Whyman were the working staff. Although we tried to get new equipment, a darkroom, and cameras through our many candy sales, our efforts this year were much in vain.
