The primary function of student council is to keep the Snowflake High School student in- formed as to the happenings of the school. Student Council meets once a week under the direction of its president and under the spon- sorship of its advisor, Mrs. Gilroy. Decisions made by the council are then sent to the administration for their approval. If approved, an activity is granted to the asking organiza- tion. Active Active! Active! Active! FHA has been busy earning money this year towards the convention in April. We started off the year with a slum ber party to get the new members interested and to plan money raisers. We made and raffled off a football quilt and sold Val-a-grams for Valentines Day. The FHA and FFA went together on the float. It was a volkswagon con- verted to a top hat. It did not turn out quite like we expected but it was fun. For Christmas we invited the FFA to our Christmas party and they invited our officers to their annual officers fondue party. Finally the state convention came around. Our annual mothe daughter banquet and installation of officers finished up our year. Y
