Orchestra The 40 piece Orchestra has enjoyed a very successful year under the guidance of Mr. Curry, our new director. For the officers of our Orchestra we have elected: Prexident ........................ ............. N ard Curry Vice President ..... .............. Annette Shumway Our first accomplishment was the Orchestra Clinic a.nd concert held here with the Tempe College Orchestra. The outstanding event in our school year was a concert tour to the Phoenix area, where we performed at several High Schools including Chandler, and Glendale. Following up the past few years we again rated high honors at the Festival in Flagstaff. We wish to express our appreciation to Mr. Curry for arranging tours, parties and concerts for us.

The outstanding event of the past year was the election of Alene Smith as a State Vice President. This means the F. H. A. district meeting will be held in Snowflake next year and, that Alene will go to Colorado during the summer to a National meeting. Activities of the year included a Mother-Daughter party and style show, a Get Acquainted with F. H. A. party, a Date for Dating discussion with the Letterman's Club, the annual F. H. A. Dance, sending of delegates to the district and state meetings and the winning of fourth place in the State Fair exhibits.
