'Iihe snake slowly begins to Snake Dance Sparks Pep uncoil, as Ronnie Carter and the Pep Band march in cadence down Ohio. Enthusiastic students surge onward as snake takes on its slithering shape. ., mf . an Ni Students pause midway and Mmm- Linda Vedder soothes the snake at Ohio and Third Street with Be Calm. ?E. snake takes a needed rest only to start soon again with in- creased enthusiasm. Students cheer by the side of the bonfire as Linda, silhouet- ted against a flame of victory, arouses exen more pep from exhausted participants in the snake dance, Dennis Whitfield, Karl Kasak, and Gary Holderman light bonfire to send jay's hopes for victory up in smoke. ll, H'
