S. in Education from Central Mis- souri State College. t f -4. MR. ROBERT OWENS, who has an A. M. from University of Missouri, teach- es American history, world geography, and American problems. We often won- der if Herman, Mr. Owens' tremendous great dane, will someday crowd him out of that snazzy white Corvette, Mr. Ow- ens' Smith-Cotton news service keeps Sedalia well informed, 16 .195 MISS CATHERINE RINER teaches freshman English and has a B. S. in Education from Central Missouri State College. Freshmen will never forget their floor talks on future occupations and, of course, Miss Riner's drill on the Rime of the Ancient Mariner . Iust as we will always remember Miss Riner, so she never forgets us. 'ab MRS. ANN MOSS is a new member of Smith-Cotton's faculty this year. Her interesting Mississippi accent intrigues all her general business and bookkeep- ing students. Mrs. Moss has a B. S. from Mississippi Southern College. ,Law . ,gp ' r-'Q A l MR. FRANK RUSSELL who has a B. S. from Central Missouri State College is an alumnus of Smith-Cotton High School who has returned to teach citi- zenship to the freshmen. Mr. Russell is also sponsor of the freshman class.

S. from Iowa State College and a M. E. from the University of Missouri, teaches industrial arts and also mech- anical drawing. Miss Tuck. who has a B. S. in Education from Southwest Missouri State College also is co-spon- sor of the junior class. J i 1 ' X I The safest drivers in Sedalia are the products of MR. CHARLES VANDERLIN- DEN'S drivers training class. Many Smith'Cotton students under his super- vision have excelled in both local and state driving meets. Mr. Vcmderlinden has a M. Al- though this was going to be her winter to brush up on her art of playing the marimba, she is instead instructing boys and girls in the commercial arts of general business and typing. Mrs. Uhr has a B. S. in Education from South- west Missouri State College. B. S. in Education from Central Missouri State College, teaches English and lit- erature to eighth graders. All the mys- teries of the constellations unfold before her literature students when they spend time during the year studying basic as- tronomy.
