Mrs. Knight carefully plans all pro- grams for senior high assemblies. e -0 - ' Y V MR. EMERSON MATTHEWS, the man who is always willing to lend a hand whenever help is needed, teaches industrial arts. He has a B. S. in Educa- tion trom Northwest State College ant' a M. E. from Colorado A. and M. Facult .ne ,e,f-'ff MRS. LOUISE McKEE instructs Smith- Cotton girls in home economics. She is producing many excellent cooks and seamstresses. Mrs. McKee has a B. S. in Education from Central Missouri State College. No one is so lucky as MR. BEN MOORE who has a private garage practically on Smith-Cotton's campus. Mr. Moore, who has a B. S. in Education from Central Missouri State College, is an instructor ot industrial arts. The manual training shop is continually buzzing with the sounds of saws and ham- mers hard at work. X1 .lf MRS. MARY MADDOX, who has a B. S. in Education, does her share in turning out good homemakers. She is well qualified as sponsor for the Smith- Cotton chapter ot Future Homemakers of America. Besides being assistant track coach and assis- tant football coach, he rules third hour study hall with an iron hand. familiar to every student of chemistry and physics. In this rocket age Mr. Iaeger, in his classes, is molding sci- entists of tomorrow. He has an M. S. from Central Missouri State College. from Central Missouri State College and a B. S. on agriculture from the University of Missouri teaches elementary and general science. He greets us with a friendly smile as he takes tickets at ev- ery school activity.

S. in Education from Central Mis- souri State College. t f -4. MR. ROBERT OWENS, who has an A. M. from University of Missouri, teach- es American history, world geography, and American problems. We often won- der if Herman, Mr. Owens' tremendous great dane, will someday crowd him out of that snazzy white Corvette, Mr. Ow- ens' Smith-Cotton news service keeps Sedalia well informed, 16 .195 MISS CATHERINE RINER teaches freshman English and has a B. S. in Education from Central Missouri State College. Freshmen will never forget their floor talks on future occupations and, of course, Miss Riner's drill on the Rime of the Ancient Mariner . Iust as we will always remember Miss Riner, so she never forgets us. 'ab MRS. ANN MOSS is a new member of Smith-Cotton's faculty this year. Her interesting Mississippi accent intrigues all her general business and bookkeep- ing students. Mrs. Moss has a B. S. from Mississippi Southern College. ,Law . ,gp ' r-'Q A l MR. FRANK RUSSELL who has a B. S. from Central Missouri State College is an alumnus of Smith-Cotton High School who has returned to teach citi- zenship to the freshmen. Mr. Russell is also sponsor of the freshman class.
