We stand with our diplomas in hand and look to the future and what it holds for 'll each of us. We have confidence in this future, because Smith-Cotton has given us that possession of which we cannot be deprived, education. Our high school days are over. For five years we have sung Hail Alma Mater and dreamed of the day when we would graduate from Smith-Cotton. Now that day is here. We have completed our studies, li T made lasting friendships, gained many noble qualities. Now we 4 are leaving the halls of our Alma Mater. Some of us are glad- most are sad. ' The class of '47 has been outstanding in scholarship, music, and speech. We have been enthusiastic workers in all school organizations and participated in all school activities.
