QllllllllINIlllllDllR BRASS HE Junior Class has been outstanding throughout its high school career for the unusual pep and enthusiasm it has shovxn in all school actixities One of the first important things our class did during the Freshman year xx as to elect by a large majority Helen Bohon ueen of the Carnival In the Sophomore year Doris Nelson was chosen Carnival ueen During this campaign the Sophomores alone sold 994 tickets Since our class has vxon the Carnival ueen election each year since entering high school we are xvorking hard to elect Marjorie Claycomb Queen of the 1936 Carnix al Not only does our class possess beauty but brains and brawn as well In athletics xve find that Stansel Defoe James Dickman J W Stephens Hilliard Hudson Herbert Stockton and Martin Lingle are indispensable football men ln basketball Harold lVl1ndell and Cierald Ferguson xx on letters Some xx ho deserxe honorable mention are Billy Ross Clay Ellison L H Durley and James Knight Throughout both Sophomore and Junior years these boxs did much interscholastic debating In accordance xxith past traditions the Junior Class gave one of the best Junior Senior Proms that has ex er been gix en Our class has planned to break axx ay from the Hobo Day tra dition and substitute for it Senior Day A fund xvas started during the Freshman xear for the purpose of carrying out this plan and each year as the monex is earned it is added to this fund . .
