i r National Honor Society began a busy year by inviting college freshmen to speak at the College Tea held in December. Each Freshman took turns speaking and answering questions about his school. Inductions, the highlight of the year, were held on April 18. Along with the usual cere- monial candlelight and vows came an amusing adaptation of The Wizard of Oz complete with costumes and music. Final projects included a field trip to Lehigh University for a National ' It in J ' , ' dx Honor Society workshop and a guided tour of the high school for the incoming freshmen of 1978. While some readers were Rippin' through the Records and Flip- pin' through the Flicks, other students were deciding their LAT seasonal apparel, aided by Fashion Forecast, reading tidbits of information from Deb's column, Doubletalk, compare predictions with Tom Evans from The Locker Room, or learning of the new element of sports from the Powder Room. Keeping up the pace and tradition, Heather MacCrindle undertook the edi- torship in the middle of her junior year. Although many columns were maintained, a change in staff inspired Heather's Hearsay and Eck's Corner, giving E many students interesting, di verse reading. 1 AI NAI T 6oEL1.lfb H E T s'FF 'i if wan-r ARE 1- saws W,-,j,,,Cf 1-QU You oavlousuf DOl0'T' YOU REHDWG HERE THA1-1 pe-5-L suitw Qsour use' DEODERHIUT' .....- W peoneemrl W , y 4 SPRAY , .'
