Cn Nov 17 and 19th, crowds watched the sen iors an the play, YOU CAN T TAKE IT WITH YOU Practicing until eleven pm reciting lines during sleep, and performing Larry s ern barrassing warm up exercises before show time helped ninteen budding actors and ac tresses turn into the members, friends, and ac quaintances of the Sycamore family. After two nights waiting for frrecrackers that never went off and sparklers that had minor malfunc- tions , the cast had a most rnernorable ' cast party Director Larry Williams led the per- formers through endless practice sessions, followed closely by Sally Pfeiffer. Rick Eckert created all the terrific scenery, Chris Marino was the fireworks expert, and Ellen Yenser was the prompter.

KNEELING Mark Ruch Greg Shiner Steve Ruch lane Smith Charles Paine, Chris Cunfer, Rose Strohl Bob Parsons Fighting was not uncom- mon among the cast for OKLAHOMA. The leads, who had clashing person- alities, frequently argued over how certain scenes should be played. This worried director George Fennell greatly. How- ever, during the last week of rehearsal, the cast made an all out ef- fort to produce one of the best musicals ever performed at SHS. Al- though the play is over, many memories will re- main: the terrific scenery by Rick Eckert, Cathy's note cards, late night and outdoor rehearsals, Mrs. Oswald, the forgot- ten lines, Act lll, scene ii, and closing night tears. ll
