Not Entering the athletic league season with the Oakland Invitational, two wrestlers did well in the field of fourteen schools. Craig Harris at 96 pounds finished with a fourth place award while Louis Dokos in the heavy division, earned a second place trophy. The OAL finals found seven grapplers with All-city titles: Percy Yang '75 C106 poundsj and Brad Ashmore '75 C128 poundsj both with second places, Jon Thompson '75 C196 poundsj in third place, Tony Cheng '75 C148 poundsj, Art Peoples '75 C168 poundsj, Drew Field '75 C175 pounds! and Warren Davis '76 C192 poundsb were also awarded. Athletes assist in school programs Gaining experience in teaching physical education were the Teen Teachers. They assisted in girl's physical education and occasionally took over to teach on their own. Their sponsor was Miss Helen Baker. Block S is a group of students who have earned block letters in various sports. The members worked to promote spirit through events such as the Rayders vs faculty basketball game.
