I, John T1ffany leave my blush to Jack Thorne who IS always composed I, Ann Van Order leave my room at home to my srster Sue, who IS next ll'l line l, Bonnte Wtnerth leave the car to any ,Tumor who dares to adventure w1th lt I, Jack Welnhauer leave my love of automobtles to anyone who w1ll be as fatthful to them as Iwas I, Dtane Wtggms leave my long black ha1r to Pam N1chols I, John Wxthey leave my typmg abiltty to anyone who wants to I, Jack Yurco leave my Dance Band baton to D1ck Reutttnger WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED7 June 24 1967 The 1967 social season was ushered tn last mght as the class of 57 held thelr fn-st reumon smce their graduat1on The gala event was held 1n the ultra new mghtclub La Grande Matson deSlgTl6d by the lead1ng arch1tects of the day B111 Brgsby and Jim Bmnett Mary Susan Keebler des1gned the 1nter1or The club lS owned and operated by the mternattonally famous Host 8a Hostess w1th the Mos test Joe 84 Gracta Kozlok who presxded over the fSSIlV1lleS 1n the same grac1ous mam1er as they d1d for the1r classmates ten years ago The trad1t1ona11y excellent Kozrol Cuisme IS now under the d1rect1on of Carol Pardee The food and drmk was never better Stat1oned at the front door to check crashers were henchman Sam Dove and Chief of Pohce Terry Belko 'I'he floor show was headed by the leadlng entertatners of the day Jack Yurco leader of the nat1on s top dance band furrushed the muslcal background Dana Mltchell, 1dol of the bobby sox set sang a medley from lus hit records .T udy Herr1ck gave one of her highly dramat1c monologues Followtng her trnunph at Carnegle Hall, Joyce Kttts held her 3LId1H1C6 captlve as she performed Warsaw Concerto w1th her left hand and Kltten on the Keys' w1th her rtght M1ke G1owack1 and h1s Jazz combo entertamed unt1l the wee hours of the mormng, All the celebrmes were not on the stage, however Governor Marshalllal Larrabee save the OP'-2111118 address and annotmced that he 13 throwmg h1s hat lllIO the pres1dent1a1 rmg on the 31111 heckhng ucket The party was organized as a desperatlon measure durmg Semor Class meetxngs If he IS elected he w1ll appomt Paul Frendak as Secretary of Agnculture. Jack Wemhauer pres1dent of General Motors arrlved lt was dr1ven by h1s chauffeur John Becker who held a simxlar post durmg noon hours several years ago Eleanor Belknap who dtctates what mllady w1ll wear flew tn from Paris a.nd announced that Hems w1ll be up necklmes down and W3lSI1ll'leS obsolete lllustrating her pomt was the leadlng fash1on model Rosella Sequm. Onlus r1ght was Sherrle Kersten Mlss DIXIE of 67 On h1s left was Marcra Byrne recently named one of the country s ten best dressed women D1a.ne Wtggms was unable to attend as she was tn darkest Africa orgamzmg a modern hosprtal system. Also promment were several members from the world of sports Lmda Nee was honored as the Woman Athlete of the Year by SPORTS ILLUSTRATED Makmg the presentatton was Bob Ray ed1tor of the magaztne. Bullet Bill Rtelly rec1p1ent of every basketball honor known to mank1nd dnbbled tn late m the evening. Mr Rtelly lS respons1ble for the new relaxed style m sports modeled after h1s own pattern of movement Also in attendance were .Tohn Wtthey ex All Amertcan back and Doug Dean, top scorer among small colleges Ron Coleman d1scussed tus plans for a nat1ona1 phystcal fnness program.
