K 1 BOB d'ALESSIO President The duty of Student Congress is to consider and approve legi- slative measures and make ad- ditions or corrections to the Con- stitution. ln the fall, Student Congress abolished the Awards Committee, giving its responsibili- ties to the Student Manager, changed the structure of student body activities by combining the Program and Rally Committees into the Assembly Committee, and formed the Driving Com- mittee to work with Self-Govern- ment. The constitution of the newly formed Science Club was also approved. The Executive Committee con- sisted of the student body of- ficers, class presidents, Selt- Government heads, Judicial Com- mittee chairmen, Student Man- ager, and Editor ofthe Jolly Roger. The committee appointed necessary chairmen. This fall the committee met to discuss and solve a special problem, the re- storing of our driving privileges.
