Coach Fitzhenry's Little Pirates began their series of league encounters with a poor record in early practice games, most of which were against strong city teams. County triumphs over San Ra- fael, Marin Catholic and Tamalpais paced the C and D lightweights for the season, though they didn't fare well in League games.
