DRAMA CLUB Wt Presentation of a scene is the only requirement for membership in the Drama Club. This year the club not only attended perform- ances in San Francisco, but also took an active part in presenting the term plays. For the first time in Drake's history two plays were presented. One, THE HASTY HEART, was a story of a wounded Scotch soldier, the other, TWELVE ANGRY WOMEN, the portrayal of an all-woman jury in delibera- tion during a trial. Big Four on station KTIM is the program for Marin's high schools. Drake's fifteen minute part of the Saturday program was directed and produced by D.B.C. The club also made occasional trips to radio and television stations to watch programs in action. Writing, acting, and broad- casting prepare students tor future careers 'on the air. RADIO CLUB Hi-Fi. . .F.M.. . ,Ham. . .These words mean tubes and condensers, stations in Stockton or Singapore to the members of the Radio Club, which meets in the Physics Lab. GAMMA SIGMA KAPPA...CADET CORPS ig! GAMMA SIGMA KAPPA Gamma Sigma Kappa is a junior and senior girls'service organization for our school and community- Helping booth workers at the annual Grape Festival, mak- ing Christmas baskets for needy families, operating a coat room, conducting drives for the Red Cross and the March of Dimes, and helping Ariquipa were the proiects of Gamma Sigma Kappa. CADET CORPS ln the Cadet Corps, high school boys are introduced to basic military service. The Drake Cadet Corps visited military installations, saw demonstrations, and presented the colors at football half time.
