HIGH HOPE 'The young wrestlers had a good season although there was a lack of experience. ' -Bret Kerr. . tate bound wrestlers had high hopes when they left for the big tournament in Hays. Attending the state cham- pionship tournament were seniors Bret Kerr, Loren Dekat, and Kerry Priddyg and freshmen Brad Dekat and Jeff Conaway. Kerr came the closest with two wins and two losses, but no place. Statistics still state that there has never been anyone who placed in state competi- tion from Silver Lake.
