CARLIVAL KING k QUEEN The Annual Fall Carnival was held November 14th The King and Queen were chosen by the public in a popularity contest sponsored by the Kay ette Organization Donna Boyer, a junior, reigned as Queen with Louise Martinek, senior as her attendant Ronald Smiley a senior, ruled as King Ray Weller, junior, was the King's only attendant PE CLUB A Pep Club was organized at the beginning of the year New sweaters were chosen and purchased by the group They were white with a wine colored eagle stamped upon the back of the sweater This organization has contributed a great deal to the school spirit by doing a superb job of cheering at the football and basketball games A new group of cheer leaders were selected by the school body and they are as follows: Dorla Boyer Head Cheer leader Marcia Brooks, First Rows Bennme Reamer, Norma Klppes, Leota Hudkins, Ora Hansford, Elvira Peavler Alberta Gibson, Doreen Kovar, Leah Schuster, Vauncille Tomey, Betty Nixon, Jean Warner, Vada George, Second Rows Wanda Conaway, Banda Frey, Petty Mitchell, June Snavely, Marilyn Maupin Sally lcCall Louise lartinek, Betty Harris, Christina Polson, Norma Fountain, Greta Polson, Marilyn loCo1d, Mrs Rogers, Third Row: Barbara lanicn, larcla brooks, Barbara Mitchell, Roberta Blankenship, larvalle Tlbbs, Clara lids, aarjorie Tibbs, Nadine Renyer, Donna Boyer, Charlotte Renyer, larearet Sloyer, Arnita Boyer, Darla Beyer, is not in the picture The Boys' Ensemble made several appearances this year During Christ mas time they sang for the Kayette program and at the Legion Hall for the High School Christmas lusic Program The following boys make up this groups Robert Reeder, Ronald Smiley, James llyer, C B Snyder, Raymond Freed, lloxnn Oberhelman, James Snyder, Clyde lyatt, and Lee Bolt GIRLS' IIBIIBLI The Girls' Ensemble has made a place for itself in the high school and community by appearing at the Church and High School for various programs during the school year The following girls make up this groups Betty arris, Dcrla Boyer June Snavely, ladine Renyer, larcia Brooks, larllyn leCo1d, linda Ccnaway, Clara Wade, largaret Sloyer, and larilyn hupin, accmpanlst.
