The aim of the program is to teach the students better farming practices and to further Agriculture in this region, thereby giving the veterans who were unable to study Agri- culture while still in school a chance to compete with the ones who prepared for it earlier. They attend class 200 hours per year and receive 50 to 100 hours of individual or group on-farm instruction depending on their farm program.
