DOROTHY BREWER Coach — Track Field Girls ' Athletic Association President Jerry Carter headed the extensive sports program available to Spartanettes this year as the organization provided playdays and inter-school competition in many areas. Assisting Jerry was her Cabinet, Vice-President Diana Crane, Treasurer Barbara Campbell, Publicity Chairman Donna Crane, and Play Day Chairman Phyllis Cole; while managers Shirley Broyles, Sandra Cook, and Arlene Shea aided in coaching the teams. Miss Verla Bateman held the adviser ' s post for the 62-63 season. First in popularity were tennis and volleyball, with the tennis team capturing a first place in WUHSD league play.
