JAYNA GUY SALLY SHANNON Bannepettes Drums rolled, trumpets blared and Sierra was spelled out in bright colored shields carried by the six lively bannerettes. When leading the parades and half- time shows, these girls proudly announced the Spartan Band and Drill Team. In order to work out the polished routines that were seen this year, the group spent many long hours working closely with the band and its direc- tor, Mr. Orville Hinshaw. With their pep and enthusiasm, the group added immensely to the events in which they appeared.
