homecominQ queen Remember When was the festive theme of Sierra ' s third annual home- coming celebration, which was held on October 26th. The day commenced with a special assembly attended by students and alumni. Tension mounted as the candidates for queen were pre- sented one by one and reached a climax when Alicia Arredondo was crowned the 1962 Homecoming Queen. Throughout the day the Queen and her four prin- cesses carried out their official duties of greeting alumni and promoting spirit. That evening the royal court reigned over the La Mirada game and concluded the day ' s activities with the traditional homecoming dance.
