SENIUR CLASS PRUPHECY It has been ten years since the class of 1956 graduated from Sierra Grande High School. I, therefore, think that it is time we heard of their whereabouts. As you will see from the following account of their present occupa- tions, they have gone to the top with the start they got at Sierra Grande High School. Betty Vernon graduated with top honors from college. She is just starting her practice now. She is a physiologist. Marie Romero is doing just what she always planned to do. She is trying to teach and keep under control a group of very lively fifth and sixth graders in Fairbanks, Alaska. Maddie Maes is living in California. She got a job in a department store. She didn't work very long though. She fell in love with the manager of the store and they were married three years ago. Henry Franklin is working at Los Alamos. He has just invented a new guided missile. Eva Aguilar married her soldier and they shipped him to Siberia, Russia. She went with him and they have eight little darlings. Bonnie Roybal has become a professional athlete, he is playing basketball for the Red Heads. He says he has got it embested. Robert Vasquez is living in Philadelphia where he has made a name for himself as a lawyer. He has built up a very good practice which is still growing by leaps and bounds. Janice Escheman is employed by the United States Government in the White House at Washington, D. C. Yes, she is the president's private secretary. Sonny Yates is an airplane designer in New York. He is married and has a trio of spoiled brats. Coleen Hard lives in Texas. She tells us that she and Melvin have a job raising their six kids, CThey say it's cheaper by the half-dozen! Walter Atencio is now on T. V. playing his guitar. He has his own band. He also has a nice fleet of Cadillacs. Joe DeHerrera is in the movies, He acted in his latest movie with Marylin Monroe, He is called the great lover. Nancy McAden is head nurse at Colorado State Hospital. She claims her work is never dull, Wilfred Sanchez is a sheep-hearder. All he has for company is his old horse and dog. He says sheep are more intelligent than people. Shirley Van Geison is a woman detective. She is noted for having solved many murder cases. She lives in Chicago, Carl John is a fisherman. He has a big ship in which he catches lobsters, He lives in Maine. The latest we have heard of Rowena Noble is that she is still going to college and has one more year to go. She still dreams of coming back to live in Sanford. Av Tun OUTLINE H' or V 'ms NE WE' 'SED STORY 'Ag ,mf QF F T155-Q was 1 ,gg ,N w D 'Q . A . . ' 3 1 Q X K . H V N s K ' .
