Before I came fo America, I had several preiudices as far as you and your counfry were concerned. This is whaf I was fold, whaf I saw in fhe movies, whaf was wriffen in fhe newspapers, and whaff was senf ouf over fhe radio. When I am going back fo Germany I can fell besides all fhe nice 'rhings I have seen and parficipafed in fhaf fhe Americans are iusf as normal as we are. The inhabifanfs of Sidney and fhe sfudenfs and feachers of Sidney High School are wonderful people. I am very, very happy here. As far as fhe school sysfem is concerned fhere is a rafher big difference befween yours and ours. We have fhirfeen subiecfs as requiremenfs so our schedule Ioolrs more Iilxe a college one because we only fake some of fhese courses each day. We only go fo school unfil fwelve fhirfy or one fiffeen in fhe affernoon. Thaf is all for fhe whole day, buf we have +o do all worlz al' home.
