Ms. Chris Libbs taught the fifteen students enrolled in this new venture. A darkroom was con- structed in the Industrial Arts wing and second semester stu- dents learned how to develop their own pictures. Leathersmith, Susan Eckely, vis- ited the Art Classes for two weeks as an artist-in-residence. The artist-in-residence program is sponsored by the Fine Arts Committee of the P.T.A. Anthony Stewart works skillfully to create a ceramic masterpiece. 28

FOURTH FLOGR MUSIC MAKERS If anyone heard the sweet melodies of flutes, horns, and violins echoing through the halls of the 'Fiidge, chances are they originated on the fourth floor in instrumental music. A highlight of this past year was the revival of the stage band. Mr. Leonard Behling, Music De- partment Head, lead the various band classes throughout a suc- cessful year. Mr. John Medjeski was in charge of the orchestra, which performed for the Christmas Concert, as well as other pro- grams. Frank Parrish demonstrates his seri- ous study of music.
