NATURALISTS IVIEND-SCIENTISTS CALCULATE if an-mf Many Changes occured in the Science Department this year, and not just chemical ones. A new teacher Mrs. Lyons was added to the staff. The Science Technology class was ex- panded to a full year. This class, along with the Naturalist Club, repaired the inner Court- yard as a science project. The Naturalist Club was sponsored by Mrs. Sue Brown. Another addition was the purchase of 10 of the 30 calculators projected for the Science Department. According to Miss Van Horn, the purpose of the calculators was to give students more time to study and less time figuring out answers.
