V 4 tc If cutting up cats, pigs and frogs, mixing strange compounds, explaining Newton's laws or gazing at the stars is your bag, you'll find something to suite your fancy in the Science department. All aspects of the scientific field are encompassed into one department under the direction of Don King. Shortridgers are fortunate in having such a wide variety of scientific courses from which to choose their required two semesters of laboratory science. lf one year of science wets the appetite there are courses in advanced biology and chemistry to quench your thirst. This year the mysteries and strange phenomenon of the chemistry lab were unfolded before the eyes of 14 very dazed sophomores. Before now. junior status was one of the prerequisites for Chemistry 1. The entrance of sophomores allows them to do more advanced work and pursue the field in more depth. 'ml my ff!
