At right-Chris likes it here, but he still thinks of home. Mm.. i A 5 Susie Buschman, Leslie Yeager, Bob Bishop, Tom Nolan, Greg Hinkle, and Kerry Kirch talk about Europe. Christopher von Stieglitz from Ger- many and Trine Rolstad from Norway were the foreign exchange students this past year at Shortridge. Chris liked the atmosphere around the school and the chance to work with an integrated student body. He also enioyed participating in the marching band. Chris treasured the opportunity to see different points of view on things that are happening in the world today. Trine enjoyed everything about America. She spent cl lot of time at the beaches. Her hobbies included dancing and playing guitar. She also liked drawing and painting. Trine enjoyed ball games, especially Nor- wegian style. After this visit to America, they both returned to their countries to finish school. Shortridge students have also ven- tured to the four corners of the globe this past summer. Beverly Moody traveled to Mexico, while Tom Nolan and Susie Buschman went to France. Fred Poehlmann, Kerry Kirch and Greg Hinkle iourneyed to Germany. Echo photographer, Leslie Yeager, took photos of European sites.
