Pig insides, molecular structures, bird calls, Isaac New- ton's apple, and Ben Franklin's kite are familiar topics to students and faculty around the science labs and rooms. Biologyis insects, eyes, and leaflets, Chemistryls broken test tubes, acids, and salt crystals, Physics' balances, buoyant forces, and thermal energies, and Naturalist Club hikes all play an important part in the lives of Shortridgers and leave a lasting mark in their memories. Students discover, ex- amine, conclude, and realize that they have so much more to learn. It may look easy but Dick Brewer has to keep that arm moving for his physics lab partner Dave Bourke who counts the revolutions Reasons Demonstrated In Lab Experiments -o-sua 'hm Waiting patiently, Christy Robb anticipates the results of her efforts to chemically produce gas in the chemistry lab. 25
