Advisers Guide Activities Girls' advisers-Miss Ruth Lewman, Miss Reeta Boys advisers Kenneth Peterman Don Knight Clark, Mrs. Nell Thomas. Lestev Groth Need some advice? The doors of 103 and 104 are always open to pupils with problems. Under the direction of Kenneth Peterman, guidance head, Miss Reeta Clark, Mrs. Nell Merrick Thom- as, Don Knight, and Miss Dorothy Peterson serve as advisers for the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes. Lester P. Groth handles all special tests, and Mrs. Annalee Miller is special adviser for students interested in eastern colleges. Orient-ing the freshmen, giving sophomores a vocational conference. helping the juniors with their Vaudeville, and preparing the seniors for graduation are just a few of the many activities managed annually by the guidance department. Hadley, principal of Shortridge. In addition to his regular duties, Mr. Hadley had the honor of representing Shortridge at the convention of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools in Chicago, Illi- nois. Budget, faculty, special events, class schedules, and student problems are the general responsi- bilities of Robert L. Green and Claude M. Kees- ling, the vice-principals. who assist Mr. Hadley in managing the daily activities of SHS besides talking to grade school students who will bc attending Shortridge in the future. Claude M.
