COPPERDOME LIBRARY Shorewood s library has always mam school libraries Its many books both fic tion and non fiction its periodicals news papers encyclopedlas and other refer ence books are available to students at all times The extensive number of refer ence books contained in our library makes it an excellent place from which to ob tain source material for research work and the many fiction books and quiet atmosphere provide hours of enloyment for students who wish to take advantage of them With the assistance of Miss Mary Shemorry our librarian students are able to find any maternal and information desired 20 lo l . ill . mf fl tained a high ranking among state high V u a u I x . ,X . CURRICULUM SPEECH Assembly Training Speech and Produc- tions are the three speech courses which are offered to seniors. The Assembly Training class is responsible for planning writing casting and directing the weekly assemblies. Each member has one assem- bly for which he is personally responsible and each member also presents an origi- nal one-hour lecture recital at the end of the year. The main purpose of speech is to teach the art of communication by means of a concentrated study of radio class which is the technical crew for the assemblies students learn and practice the fundamentals of technical play pro- duction I I I I I , I television and drama.
