ART MRS. DELONG MR. HILL TEACHERS The fascination of creating, the enjoyment of ex- pressing, the excitement of achieving, and the ap- preciation of the gifted are all part of the daily class work of the art student. He works with various materials to create lines, shapes, textures and colors and with these he is limited only by his imagination. Mr. Hill and Mrs. DeLong guide the students through a well-planned curriculum of basic color and design. Lettering, figure drawing, perspective, and print making are only a few of the many activities that go on in the art room. Many examples of the students ' work can be seen almost anytime in room 39 and oc- casionally in the main hallway showcase. Mr. Hill also teaches a class at Cortland and classes in mechanical drawing in the Junior High School. 84
