FOOTBALL GRADE 9 MR. HACKER, MR. KNIGHT, COACHES The football season this year was one of constant defensive improvement. With the two consecutive losses fresh in the teams memory, they concentrated their efforts on making it more difficult for the opposition to score. As the scores for the remainder of the season indicate, the effort put forth was not in vain. It must be said that this year was a very successful football year for the ninth grade team and give them all a deserved well done . TRACK SPRING 1967 MR. HACKER, COACH The seventh and eight grade Track Team had one of its most successful seasons. The team lost one meet by the smallest possible margin while romping past all other opponents. A victory in the Seymour Invitational was the highlight of the season. Over half of the existing track records were broken. Several team members were undefeated in their events: Charles Fox, . 880, Bill Acton. . ,440, the 440 relay team composed of Tim Barbour, Tom Barbour, Baron Hill and Doug Richard- son, the 880 relay team composed of Dan Botkin, Charles Fox, Bill Acton, Dan Ritz, and Mark Spurgeon. Dan Botkin starts the 880 relay team on its way to a new school record. Relay team members were Dan Botkin, Charles Fox, Dan Ritz, Mark Spurgeon, and Bill Acton. Tom Barbour exchanges the baton with Baron Hill on the last leg of the 440 yard relay. The relay team; Tom Barbour, Baron Hill, Doug Richardson, and Tim Barbour established another school record. Charles Fox wins the 880 yard run again. Charles was undefeated this year and set a new school record. INTERESTED SPECTATORS 54
