ye,- Favorile Teacher Retires Lloyd Banks, 21 long time favorite of students, retired after forty years service from 1938 to 1978. fAbovej, Lloyd Banks, with his lovely wife, Veatrice, was honored at a retire- ment dinner. LLOYD BANKS Two L's for love and laughter That brightened up our days. The O is for outstanding Say those who sing his praise. The Y is for the youth he taught To be trustworthy men. The D is for his doing things That won't be done again. B is for the battles In ring, on field and court. As coach he taught his teams to fight And yet to be good sports. A is for achievement Which shall unequaled be . N is for the natural way I-Ie has with you and me . K is for the kindness He 's always shown to us . The kindness in the little things He does without a fuss. S stands for Sherman The school that's been his life. To Sherman he has been faithful Through years of joy and strife.
