Principal Remains This was Mr. Ronnie L. Williams' second year as principal at Sherman which was quite a feat in it- self considering that Sherman has had four different principals in the past four years. I-le was graduated from Sherman in 1965. He earn- ed his B.A. degree at Morris Harvey and his Masters at W.V.C.O. G.S. This year he taught a class in back packing for approximately thirteen students. He and his wife Betty Jo live at Racine. His hobbies are camping, golfing, bikeriding, traveling, all sports, and motorcycling. A 33 Years Spent Here Our Vice-Principal Mr. Jack Banks has been here at Sherman High School for thirty-three years. He began teaching in 1946. This was his third year as vice-principal. Attendance, lockers, the hot lunch program, vending mach- ines, and supervision of activities were among his many respon- sibili1ies.His biggest headache was, getting students to school. MI. Mrs. Workman, who has been here three years, lives at Sylvester with her husband Thurman and her son Jonathan. She taught library practice and was a junior sponsor. Her degrees are a B.S. degree from Concord and an M.A. degree from W.V.C.O.G.S. She was Secretary-Treasurer of the W.Va. School Librarians' Association. Mrs. Adkins listed reading, horticulture, furniture antiquing, and tennis among her hobbies.
