'F uniofz High Tooffmlf The Sherman Junior High Little Tidew closed its season without a win. This in no way was an indication of the team's true ability for it was composed of a group of young men who were playing their Iirst year of football. Coach Clifford Coon sent out the call for junior high material early in the season and was abfe to recruit a team of about 23 players. This was a good showing for the first year Tidettes. Only three games were played during the season. In the first, Leewood Junior High, boasting a team that claimed the state championship. defeated the Shermanites, lZ-0. In the second game Whitesville-'was victorious by a small margin. Thehthird game took the little Tide to Leewood where they were defeated a third time. Epidemic cut the season short although live games were scheduled to be played. C , . , , I . . 1 he W lllh0Il11lIlIlA'l nge ,llII'f!l'6'ly1lf L I- .
