Music Music Provides Harmony The Sherman High School Music department has a wide variety of courses for the musically inclined students. Freshman, JV, SHS Singers and A Cappella are the choirs available for the student who likes to sing. Along with having concerts, some of the students participate in music contests. For the student who loves to play instruments there is Band and Orchestra. Health, Physical Education Dr. E Physical education encourages endurance Health, Physical Education and Driver's Education are required courses for all students at Sherman High School. Health students learn about hygiene, body functions, alcohol and drug educa- tion. Students in P.E. play tennis, volleyball, basketball, flickerball and participate in the Governor's Fitness Award. Driver's Ed. teaches the student how to drive a car in simulated and actual experience. l 2 6 1. Gayla Edwards practices artificial respiration on Resusi-Anne. 2.
