Homemakers remain busy with activities Students in the three levels of homemaking gain- ed knowledge and skills relating to nutrition, food preparation, home management, clothing construc- tion and textiles. Other areas studied include hous- ing and interior design, child development, paren- ting, as well as consumer education. Home and Family Living classes were designed to help students gain a better understanding of themselves which in turn helped them to better understand others.
