WU mv f7 f J. 80 SHS JACKETTEERS The members of the Jacketteers know that hard practice pays off. In its fourth year of existance the Jacketeers are as great as ever. At the end of last year the Jacketeers won sweepstakes at State Contest in Russellville. They do many things in their year around prepara- tion for contest. This year they went to winter camp at NLR Ole Main where they received 36 su- perior and 2 excellent individual ratings. Each sum- mer the Jacketeers work with a private choreo- grapher from Texas, Lynn Archer. The Jacketeers are trying to work with more band arrangements of songs selected in order to work more closely with our SHS band. They strive to achieve a variety in their routines which include jazz, high kick, prop, marching and novelty. By helping raise spirit at the games, the Jacketteers are a very important part of the basketball season.
