Donna Langlett saves a goal. Julie Langlett tries for a goal. SHS Girls' Soccer team, under the direction of Coach Red Turner and Coach Howard Person, had a fantastic season. They won first place in their division and got into the state playoffs, which they lost to Abraham Lincoln l-0 in a hard-fought game. Leading players were Donna Langlett, goalkeeper, Pam Chavez and Arlene Sandoval, front line, Jackie Frantz and Julie Langlett, back. Tina Romero was one of the leading goal scorers. Other fine players were Cyndi Kyle, Connie Glenn, Lorie Soria, Denise Moser and Kelly Hottman and the rest of the Ram team. The girls are looking forward to another good season next year.
