For A Place At State A i f ? .yew 1. as 1 ' The Sheridan Boys' Track Team had a very good season. The team had six members out of 15 that went to state. Those six were Shawn Lord, Jim Ba- ker, Jerry Toney, Mark Carpenter, Wayne Nestor, and Randy Glenn. Shawn Lord and Jim Baker par- ticipated in the Shot Put with Shawn placing second with a school record toss of 53' 1O . Shawn Lord and Jerry Toney threw the discus. Mark Carpenter and Wayne Nestor took part in the pole vault. Randy Glenn ran the high and low hurdles, finishing seventh in the high hurdles.
