The matches W M QX xv were arranged because there were no leagues. There was little experience in the -J 91 Q, Q fx team this year, said Coach Turner. Even with this setback, Turner said that the NN J M team was as good as any other team they played. They played a total of eight R' J T' Qi N W .1 X Q-Gln: if . T P p X ' T i f X 'jc 'vw p X-E T games. Some of the schools that they played against were: Heritage, Kennedy, 5 Colorado Academy, and Lincoln. Coach Turner said that Charri Daubert, who f sf QM , played halfback, was an excellent thrower, and that Ginger Nielsen and Arlene in--QQ .M Sandoval were also outstanding players. Coach Turner says that the team is look- ' ' W 'X N wg ing forward to a better year this year, the reason being that the girls have learned , XY a great deal and they are more experienced. Next year they hope to have f fb' XA leagues.
