Los Buscadores Holds Banquet The highlight of the Spanish Club year was the initiation banquet held in February. At this time, first year members were sold as slaves for a money raising project. The duties performed by these slaves were varied and quite often unique. This year's officers include Emily Mancini, President; Linda Higgs, Vice-President; and Debbie Fox, Secretary-Treasurer. The club is sponsored by Miss Olive Lee. President Emily Mancini picks day for the banquet. Members attentively listen to up-coming plans. Miss Horne Brings Pep club to Life Under the sponsorship of Miss Horne and with the help of Miss Piz and Mrs. Vannoy, the Pep Club reorganized and became one of the best Pep Clubs SHS has ever had. The girls had many projects to raise money which made it possible to go on three road trips this year. Trips to a football game at Natrona County High School, basketball game at Cody, and the District Basketball Tournament highlighted the year. Pep Club was in charge of many of the Homecoming Activities this year--hamburger fry, mum sales, decorating the goal posts, and the homecoming dance.
