This year Helen Sealing and Karen Loewenstein represented both music groups at the State Music Clinic held at Beatrice. The chorus caroled during the holiday season, and participated in the annual Spring Concert held on April 12, 1955. The chorus participated in the vocal clinic at Wood River on May 2. They also took two numbers to contest and received an Excellent rating. S AU XA Cheryl Jaeke, Maxine Bowman, Charlene Sorensen, and Nona Smith played The Four Some at the District Contest and received a rating of good. They provided entertainment at P.T.A., at Farm Bureau, and at the Methodist Church.

This year the Girls' Glee was one of the largest Glees in the district. They participated in the Spring Concert, and also the Tri-Valley Music Clinic on May 2. The Glee sang the theme song at Coronation and also a number during the program. At the District Music Contest the Glee sang three numbers and received a rating of Good. lll V :F fl GIRLS' TRIO, Left to Right: Charlene Sorensen, Helen Sealing, and Carolyn Hayman. The trio sang It's Only a Paper Moon at the district contest and received a rating of good. Throughout the year the trio sang at P. T. A., the Junior and Senior plays, the Methodist Church, and Homecoming.
