Senior Highlights
As each day passes and brings graduation nearer. we find ourselves looking back
over pleasant memories that have made our senior year one of the most enjoyable
years in CHS. The success of this year was due to the fine cooperation of our class
and our officers and the wise counsel of our sponsors. Xlrs. Breast. Mrs. Hulan. Miss
Rogers. Mrs. Core. Mrs. Crockett. Coach Copeland. and Mr. Nunley. and of our
principal. Mr. May.
In the spring of 1950. the officers were elected. with Mike Bone as President. The
other officers were Kenneth Couser. Vice-President. Carolyn Overcast. Secretarv. and
Emily Sanders. Treasurer.
We have worked hard and entered into many money-making projects. Many of
seniors were seen working at the National Walking Horse Celebration on Friday
Saturday selling cakes and pies.

At our annual Harvest Festival. Tom Wiliiams and Mary Ruth Walker were our
senior representatives for king and queen.
It is a real honor for a senior to be selected to the Student Council or to be a DAR
representative. Several of our seniors had
