Bob Klatt, Conme Hewltt Ronald Hull Frank Morrasy, Cheryl Jones, Ronald Moore, An1ta Sprowls, Joyce Speakman, Jo Ann Van De Keere, Nancy Stevens, Jzrn Van Loo, Terry Nutter, Davxd Wxlcoxson, Eddle Van Melr Later LU the year Bob Dedmore moved away Offlcers elected were Presldent Bob Klatt V1ce Presldent Connle Hewitt Secretary and Treasurer Walt l-lasbrook Our sponsor was Mr Schwmd who has been selected as our sponsor for all four years of hlgh school We chose red and grey as our class colors and our banner, of whlch we are very proud, was desxgned by June Edwards Most of the boys partlclpated m the sports act1v1t1es For our class part1es we went on a skatlng party and had a party at the school Our Sophomore Class offlcers were Presxdent Conrue Hewltt V1ce Presldent Ron Moore Secretary .hm Van Loo, and Treasurer Marre Gxltner We kept up our tradltlon of havmg a St Pat s Dance Thxs year we attended a show m Kewanee for one class party For another we enjoyed a plcnxc supper at the canal mdmg out and back on a hay rack Dorcas Glbson and Larry Pease jomed us thls year We were honored to have Dorcas elected as a cheerleader Don Kelly also Jomed and left our class thxs year Jo Ann Van De Keere Secretary Kaye Cogger, and Treasurer Dorcas G1bson Ron Hull left us thls year The followmg thmgs were done thls year to earn money sellxng pompons Bar B Q, sold penc1ls and had a bake sale, besxdes the usual sellmg of pop and candy at all the home games We had a roller skatmg party and had a pxcnxc at Whlte Pmes Agam our class sponsored the St Patrlck s Dance A large crowd attended and the dance was much enjoyed The mght of our dance our rmgs arrzved and most of us recewed them that nrght Dorcas was agam chosen Vars1ty Cheerleader and Marre was chosen Junxor Vars1ty Cheer leader We worked very hard learnmg our .Tumor Play and puttmg It on After the performance was over most of us wrshed we could gxve It agam Our Semor year the offxcers elected were Presxdent .hm Van Loo, V1ce Presxdent Connre Hewltt, Secretary Ed Van Meu, and Treasurer Davxd W1lcoxson At the tlme thxs yearbook was pubhshed we were busrly practxcxng our Senxor Play whxch w1ll be gwen the 12th of March We are also happxly plannmg our class trip to whlch we are lookmg forward w1th much eager ness Thls Page Sponsored By FARMERS STATE BANK, Sheff1eld a Q f I ' I 1 . 1 . .
