They were: Dorothy Barry, Barbara Bills, Cleo Bill, Ed Braasch, Vera Crockett, Dorothy' De May, Margaret Donovan, Barbara Emmerson, Phoebe Hartz, Barbara Jones, Bud Knowlton, Dora Jeanne Morris, Pete Primo, Oliver Rieder, Carroll Taylor, Lucille Treanor, and Betty Streicher. 'A few weeks after school opened, class officers were elected: Dorothy De May, president, Dora Jeanne Morris, vice-president: Vera Crockett, secretary- treasurer. The class colors, green and white, were choseng and the banner, designed by Carroll Taylor was purchased. The class withstood the terrific pressure of the Seniors before g-uring, and after the initiation, and were soon included in fifegular school activities. The class dance of that year wh a . Pat- rickfs Dance and was a success. Two new members Wggf,p1ned the class that year were Wilma Norton and Dennis Mid' oc. V At the beginni 5 of the Sophomore year Car'e 'aylor left the class, and t o -ther students were adde M:ra e 7Bosenow and John Watts. :sth o these students were f .e vfth the class only .during the sop more ear. Junior Hull i -Q the class in January of that ,haf Tha- year's class dn ce was the first of its kind to be Egfr for man' years. It w:s a T-mecoming Dance, given after thagfkt football game of tn' sea-on. The students of Manlius Hia S-ical, our o.p-4- s,for't'e game, were also guests for the danfe. The class danc- was held aftev a basketball game with Neponset, and the students o' .-at . h--l as gues' . The dance was a success. Members of the cs!! partie patfi in the decla- mation contests :-- both Phoeb : T in JW- H'morous division and Wilma Ny n, in .-A ,' AH fivisigg, can first in the County contest. v.e tiqil. -een in t -ypreferation of the Banquet and Prom held at r- 1 y C u , he' theme for the, evening was E night club setting. f 2 Q: was given during the meal and dancing followed. f ' The Senior year finally came. Two new members: Wanetta Floyd and Jack Norris, joined the classy and two members were lost: Lucille Treanor, and Ed Braasch. First on the long list -of duties for the Seniors came the Freshman Initiation and the Senior Dance. Class officers were elected at the beginning of the year and the class motto and class flower were wsel6oted. Several' members participated in the one-act plays given by the Dramatic Club, uSpringtime For Susieu was the Senior play and once again the class had a success. New scenery was .initiated with this play. They took their annual trip to. Chicago, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Seniors sincerely appreciated the Banquet and Prom given in their honor by the-Junior Class. There they go for a stroll in the moonlight. Goshl The light in the magic ball is fading. How I wish I could see this. The light in my crystal ball is gradually coming backsto me now. I could recognise this place anywhere. It is the Hol- lywood Bowl. Some great orchestra. is playing UBeat Me Daddy Eight to the Farm by Mozart. Huh, must be a mistake there. The orchestra has just finished the recital, and the great conduc- tor, Leopold gets Primo, is taking a bow. But the light in the magic ball is quickly fading.
